This is my most recent project. It is a 1:96 scale model of the USS Constitution. I bought it awhile ago and never really got into it.
Now I have really made some headway with it and I'm really enjoying working on it.

I have reached a crucial point in its construction. The major work on the hull is finished. All I have now is the anchors, masts and rigging. It sounds like alot but I am hoping to have it finished by September when I leave for school.

These are some closeup shots (with our NEW CAMERA :) ) to show the detail that I had to go into.

I had to tie down every carronade (those are the cannons in this picture) and the lifeboats with very small thread.

I would have posted this sooner but my account got all screwed up. This is our paintball game day that we had at home just before everything started turning green. There weren't very many of us but we had fun.

These two pics are the last game that we played. Payton and Spencer were on the right side (above) and I was on the left (below).

I ran out of paint twice but managed to scrounge up the leftover paint still in Spencer's pods (He carries like eight) that he had dropped.

I ended up losing but they had four times as much paint as I carried.

This is another good picture of the Judean Wilderness.

This is the insode of one of the massive cisterns @ Masada. Herod the Great had 8 of them built. These cisterns would have been able to suppl hundreds of people with water for years.

This is a big canyon that we hiked thru early in the morning ( it was COLD!!!). It was on a wildlife preserve.

This is me sitting on a downed pillar at the city of Bet Shean. The city was built of marble and it took hundreds of years to complete. The whole city was then leveled in 7 seconds by a massive earthquake.

I got Lukes pictures from the Israel Trip. This is me at the entrance of the cistern at Bet Shemesh.

This is a picture that I drew today in school. I found a picture on the web that was like it so I tried to draw it. I thought it came out well so I put it on my blog. If you didn't know, he is an American Paratrooper from WWII. Let me know how you like it.

This is me on the Temple Mount, in front of the Dome of the Rock. We had to go through two different security checkpoints to get up there.

This is me on the Mount of Olives. In the background is (obviously) the Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock. To the left of my head is the Al Aksa Mosque. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is the gray dome just to the left of the Dome of the Rock. It is hard to see without magnification.

This is just a funny picture on a building in the West Bank. It's a Dove with a bullet proof vest on. We went to the West Bank to see the Herodian and go the Bethlehem.

This is the Golan Heights. The Northern border with Syria and Lebanon. The mountains in the background are filled with Israeli fortresses and listening posts. This picture was taken on the northern side of Israel only a few Kilometers from Syria. We could actually see Syria from the other side of the bus. We went to the Golan Heights to see Caesarea Phillipi, a central place for pagan worship where Jesus first asked his Disciples "Who do you say that I am?"

This is a picture of the begginning of the Jezreel Valley. We were on top of Mount Carmel in the northern part of Israel.
